ComputED Gazette Recognizes MultiLab Software in Post-Secondary Science Category.
Recognizing the company's advancements in developing high-quality educational science software, the ComputED Gazette has honored Fourier Systems with a 2007 Education Software Review Award (EDDIE). The EDDIE was given for the company’s software program, MultiLab, which is available on the MultiLog, MultiLogPRO, TriLog, and TriLink data loggers as well as the Nova5000, in the category of Post-Secondary: Science. My name is Debby Somech and I'm a Science teacher in Lod, Southern Israel. I have been a teacher for 15 years and for the last two years have taught high school students. I remember clearly how well my students responded to the Nova5000 system from the very first day. It was a cold winter day, I invited two girls to come and take part in an experiment. I connected 2 temperature probes and asked the girls to hold the probes in their hands. The girls held the 2 probes and I ran the system. It was very interesting to see that the 2 probes showed different readings. The first question they asked was which reading belonged to which girl. I asked them to think and tell me. They felt each others hands and right away knew the answer.
